Our Mission
CannabisGermany.org provides free, comprehensive, and accurate cannabis information for English speakers navigating Germany’s cannabis landscape. We cover the Cannabis Act, social clubs, city guides, the medical program, visitor safety, contamination warnings, industry developments, and the cultural history that brought Germany to this point.
Germany legalized cannabis for 83 million people, but most information is in German, scattered across news articles, government PDFs, and forum posts. English-language coverage is often superficial, outdated, or focused on investment rather than practical use. We exist to provide a single, trustworthy, independent resource for the English-speaking world.
What We Are
- Educational: Every page is written to inform, not to advocate or sell
- Accurate: All facts are sourced from German government publications, published journalism, academic research, and official statistics
- Current: We regularly verify information against official sources and update content as laws, regulations, and conditions change
- Independent: We have no product sales, no social club affiliations, and no advertising revenue
- English-first: Written specifically for English speakers — tourists, expats, researchers, and anyone trying to understand German cannabis policy from outside the German-language media
What We Are Not
- Not a social club: We do not sell or distribute cannabis
- Not an affiliate: We have no paid relationships with clubs, lounges, head shops, or cannabis companies
- Not legal advice: Our content is educational — consult a German attorney (Rechtsanwalt) for legal guidance specific to your situation
- Not medical advice: Consult a healthcare provider for health-related cannabis questions
- Not a source for cannabis: We do not facilitate purchases, introductions to dealers, or access to gray market channels
